The Department of Information Technology is involved in agency planning, design and implementation of information technology and communications systems for the County which includes, but is not limited to, designing, deploying and administering information systems, applications, network infrastructure, telephony, mobile communications and devices, websites and data storage, and any other information technology now or in the future.
The Department strives to improve the overall efficiency and productivity of your County Government by implementing cost-effective technologies that uphold the vision and goals set forth by the County Board of Supervisors and executive management, as well as enhance the services provided to County residents.
The Department of Information Technology provides technology support services, in whole or in part, for the County’s Departments, Constitutional Offices and outside agencies listed below.
